'The Mortali tree' stippling ink artwork by Olly Hunter Wilson, deriving from the ancient idea 'The tree of life'

I challenged myself by asking the question, what would my life look like if it were a tree? would it be colourful and full of flowers, or would it be full of weeds and vines, would it be a plant you would like to remember, or would it have branches you tried to forget?

after watching this life regrow in front if me I realised the beauty of this journey comes from the struggle, the hard things I interpret in my mind look back at me in a physical form of resilience and chance, the symbols the make nature exciting are the same ones that make me unique.

my roots will always find a new direction to grow when the last ones fail, and the product that comes from this triumph is the freedom to grow anywhere, to enjoy happiness as it finds me not to spend my life thinking its worth more than hope.

I hope you like what I have created and enjoy it the same way as I have.

Olly.
